Replacement motor for your 97-99 Corvette and tossing that OEM motor??? You really need to read this first........
After 1999 GM went with a much cheaper plastic design that is not water tight. A similar design is now being used for the new replacements for 97-99 Corvettes and the plastic gear they are putting in them is even less durable than the gear used in your OEM motors. Your OEM motor really is the best quality motor you will ever find it just has the one weakness which is the nylon plastic gear than GM put in them. Chances are your motor is still working but is making a loud grinding noise right?This listing is for one (1) high quality (better than new) re-manufactured OEM headlight motor left/driver side or right/passenger side. If you need both sides then please select (2) two items and I will assume you need one left and one right. Usually when one motor fails the other is not far behind.

This motor is re-manufactured with a high quality CNC machined heavy duty aluminum gear that is standard with this listing. I only sell re-manufactured OEM motors because they are the best quality you will ever find but they do have a weakness which is the nylon plastic drive gear. My rebuild process addresses this problem by upgrading the gear to a high quality CNC machined hard anodized aluminum gear.The combination of the OEM design motor and the CNC machined hard anodized aluminum gear makes this the strongest and highest quality motor you can get for your Corvette. You will likely never have to worry about a stripped or broken gear ever again. I do not deduct for the typical stripped or broken gear. All headlight motors are completely disassembled and cleaned, the brushes inspected for wear and replaced when necessary, the armature housing is bead blasted and repainted when necessary to remove all traces of rust. The nylon gear is replaced with a CNC machined hard anodized aluminum gear and properly lubricated with the correct OEM grease. End play is also adjusted and then the entire assembly is fully bench tested to assure your headlight motor is working perfectly and runs as quiet and smooth as when it was new!Please check my feedback to see my many happy customers! If they are still working they won't be for long. After 20+ years they will soon fail for the same reasons as the one(s) you are trying to replace.
