1970 Chevelle LS6 OEM Radiator Core Support Heavy Duty Cooling withTab V01 4-Core
This is an OEM GM original assembly-line-correct radiator core support for 1970 Chevelle models with heavy duty cooling. This includes LS6 cars with 4:10 posi, all factory big-block cars with A/C, and those ordered with the optional V01 Heavy Duty Cooling. Just like the radiator top plates on these cars, the core support also was cut and received a welded-on extension tab to accommodate the wider cushion for the 4-core heavy duty radiator. This is a straight Western piece that has never been in road salt. It has been rattle-canned a few times without ever being stripped bare, so it will need to be blasted. There are some areas with mostly light pitting, but there are no soft or rusted-out areas.
You should be able to get by with some primer-surfacer and sanding to fill these areas. There is no previous collision damaged to be repaired on this piece. This is guaranteed to be a real-deal factory heavy-duty piece, NOT one that somebody welded a tab onto. It goes without saying that these are extremely tough to find in any condition.
