1970 1971 1972 Gto Judge Lemans Nos Radiator Support Baffle 455 Ho Ram Air IV Gt
For sale is an NOS radiator support lower air baffle for 1970-72 GTO and LeMans with V-8, AC or heavy duty cooling. This is the extremely rare 1970 version with both part numbers.
GM had one casting for 2 part numbers. As you can see in the pictures it has 478419 and 9790696 cast into it. The 478419 version for 1971-72 was just the 9790696 trimmed off.
If you've never seen one of these your not alone. A lot of people don't even know their car had or should have one. Most of these were broken off very early in the cars life. I also have an original 478419 version if anyone is interested in one of those instead. If you look close at the one picture you can see it is not trimmed perfectly straight.
I used to have 3 of these and they were all like that right from GM. This is my last 9790696 that is correct for 1970. It is not correct for 1970 Judge as they had a lower spoiler. This would be a perfect part to reproduce because none are available. I've had it happen to me.
